  • Surveillance Investigations

Surveillance Investigations is the monitoring of behavior and activities of a subject in an effort to document any activity for purposes of defending against insurance fraud. Video and audio equipment are used to record this activity. Typically, surveillance investigations are started at the subject’s confirmed address over the course of several days. Surveillance continues with following the subject to public places and entering these places for further documentation.

Activity checks are used prior to a surveillance investigation and sometimes during the investigation. These checks involve neighbors who can provide detail information regarding subject activity. This information can help decide when to start surveillance operations or if surveillance is required.

Databases and asset checks are also used to determine the possession of other property or recreation vehicles. Databases can also provide information regarding the licenses a person may possess, hunting or fishing and conceal carry permit.
