    Recorded statements are taken of the claimant, witnesses, and supervisors to name a few. The purpose of a recorded statement is to gather information and evidence. These statements are conducted in-person and with different tones.

    By conducting them in-person, the tone of the statement can be anything from friendly to a hot light interrogation.

    Recorded statements are taken as soon as possible and locks accounts of the incident down preventing the claimant from changing his or her story.
